Can I just keep my current hire order and carry it over to 2021?

Yes, we would be really pleased if you would do so, and we have made this as simple as possible. Your order will automatically be validated for the 2021 Battle Proms Concerts (see dates below). There will be no price increase for you for 2021. You do not need to take any action now.

By keeping your booking in place you are helping us to ensure that we can continue to offer our service at the Battle Proms for many years to come, and to show our gratitude we will be entering all bookings carried over into a prize draw to win a luxury picnic hamper at next years concert.

Can I gain entry at the 2021 concert with my 2020 booking confirmation?

No, we ask you to discard your 2020 order confirmation. We will send you a new booking confirmation after 1st September and before any new orders are taken from any other customers for 2021 concerts. for your chosen 2021 concert.

Can I have a refund?

Yes, if you really cannot keep your booking in place you can have a full refund on the price of your order. This will not be processed automatically and you will need to email us with your request including your order reference and the email address you booked with. Your order reference can be found in your order confirmation email that you received shortly after booking. The money will be returned to the account used to place the original booking.

Do remember that if you subsequently place an order for 2021 it will be at new 2021 prices

Why do I only have until 1 September 2020 to request a refund?

We are following the lead on this set by the Battle Proms organisers. Having a time limit for refund requests allows us to be sure that we have properly dealt with all refund requests before we open our website for new orders for 2021.

When are the 2021 Battle Proms Concerts taking place?

They will be on the corresponding weekends next year, as follows:
Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire - Saturday 3 July 2021
Burghley House, Lincolnshire - Saturday 10 July 2021
Hatfield House, Hertfordshire - Saturday 17 July 2021
Highclere Castle, Hampshire - Saturday 31 July 2021
Ragley Hall, Warwickshire - Saturday 7 August 2021

I want to keep my order in place for next year, but I can't make that date. Can I swap my order to another venue?

In the case of furniture bookings, yes no problem at all.  With regard to gazebo bookings it should not be a problem but we may need to consider the implications for positioning if we have a large number of requests for a particular venue.  Please just email us at info@the concertshop.co.uk and let us know which concert you would prefer to attend. Be sure to include your order reference in your email.

I ordered for a large group. Can I cancel some of the seats/tables etc. and keep some of them?

Yes, please email us at info@theconcertshop.co.uk outlining how you would like to proceed and we will arrange that for you and send a fresh confirmation after 1st September. A partial refund will be arranged as required. Any new additions subsequently made after these changes will be at the 2021 prices.

What happens if I have hired a gazebo?

Your booking will automatically transfer to next year and we would encourage you not to cancel and attempt to re-book next year as gazebos tend to sell out very early on

Where will I find your hire point?

Our hire point will be clearly visible once you enter the main concert arena. Look for the Table and Chair Hire sign on our marquee. We are normally located near the main entrance or near other concession stands.

Why do I pay a deposit when I collect my furniture?

We hire out hundreds of tables and chairs at each concert and we need to ensure they all come back to us at the end of the evening. The deposit also covers any damage to the equipment.

Are the Tables and Chairs laid out ready for us?

Sorry, No! You will collect your items from our hire point and take them to wherever you wish to sit. They have to be brought back to us at the end of the evening.

Where will my Gazebo be located?

Gazebos and Mini Marquees are erected at the rear, of the main crowd area. They are not close to the stage but will have a line of sight to the stage across the main crowd in front of you. We cannot always guarantee a clear view. Gazebos are located at the sole discretion of the concert organisers and we cannot choose a specific location for you. The units are pre erected for you and if you have hired furniture as well this will be placed ready for you in the gazebo. At the end of the evening you just leave everything in place and we take care of it for you.

Can I decorate my gazebo or mini marquee?

Yes of course you can! But please be considerate and ensure that whatever you do you can completely remove all traces of the decorations before you leave. Please do not apply selloptape etc. to any of the structure and any string or ribbon tied to the frame must be removed.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes of course, It is an open air 'picnic concert' and you can take whatever you like.
